French American School of Chicago, A Bilingual and Bicultural School

The French American School, Chicago is the erstwhile School which established in 1981, within the Abraham Lincoln Elementary School (ALES).   This French School in Chicago is educationally and socially beneficial as it runs with the collaboration of EFAC, LPHS and ALES.   It teaches the language and culture of both America and France. EFAC offers the scholastic curriculum of the French Ministry of National Education. The curriculum is integrated with the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) system. This French School Chicago allows admission of students with backgrounds of all cultures, nationalities and religions.   Students are supposed to be fluent in French, corresponding to their respective grade level. But, such fluency is not required in English because the CPS system makes students perfect in English.
